Kauno ruduo 2026

On 3 October, Kaunas and its surrounding area will come alive with the 53rd international Kauno Ruduo 2026 rally – one of Lithuania’s oldest motorsport events, held since 1974.

This year’s rally will welcome more than 100 crews from over ten countries. Motorsport veterans, championship-winning drivers and young competitors will share the stages, while spectators can enjoy an impressive variety of machinery – from historic ZAZ, Moskvich, Volga, VAZ and other classic cars to Subaru WRX STI, Toyota Celica and modern competition cars.

The rally traditionally honours the memory of Kastytis and Arvydas Girdauskas, two prominent figures in Lithuanian motorsport. This year will also commemorate the legendary jump by Kastytis Girdauskas and Uldis Madrevics in a Moskvich 412 at Finland’s 1000 Lakes Rally.

The programme will also feature a historic car parade, showcasing rare vehicles from the last century.

Kauno Ruduo 2026 will start and finish in Nepriklausomybės Square, beside St Michael the Archangel (Garrison) Church in Kaunas.
