VELO CX 2026–2027: UCI C2 cyclocross-võistlused

This autumn, Lithuanian cyclocross riders face an intensive VELO CX season, with a calendar featuring races in Kėdainiai and Vilnius, an international UCI Class 2 weekend and the Lithuanian Cyclocross Championships.

The season will begin on 27 September in Kėdainiai Central Park, before moving to Valakampiai Beach I in Vilnius on 4 October.

One of the season’s highlights will be the international UCI Class 2 cyclocross weekend on 17–18 October at Žirmūnai Beach in Vilnius. Two days of competition will give Lithuanian riders the opportunity to compete in UCI-category races in their home country. Both days will also carry greater weight in the VELO CX overall standings: a victory on each day will earn 40 points, compared with 20 points for the winner at each of the first two rounds.

The season will reach its climax on 25 October in Utena, where the Lithuanian Cyclocross Championships and the final VELO CX race will take place together. The final points awarded that day will determine the VELO CX season winners across the age groups, and the national champions will also be crowned.

Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome. CX, OPENCX, MTB and children’s categories are planned. Participation in VELO CX rounds is free for juniors, youth riders and children.
