About the event.
A four-hour car photo-orienteering event around Lake Burtnieks takes place on October 24, 2026. Teams have 240 minutes to find photo checkpoints and complete extra tasks. Checkpoints appear on a standard road map. Results depend on checkpoint strategy and keeping the driven route short.
Start anywhere within the event region between 10:00 and 11:00. Materials are sent to the team through WhatsApp at the start. Finish four hours after your own start at any chosen location, so no common fixed finishing time is specified.
Teams must have at least two people. Bring a passenger car, a smart device that can send and receive WhatsApp messages, a pen and comfortable footwear. Entry costs €29 per team. Registration: https://mazais.brauciens.lv/registracija.
