Night Car Photo Orienteering – Valka and Surroundings

A four-hour night car photo-orienteering event takes place in Valka and the surrounding area on October 17, 2026. Teams locate photo checkpoints using a map and take photographs at them. Valka also features a city hunt using special clues. Checkpoints appear on a standard road map on your phone; reference photographs were taken during daylight.
Start from any location inside the event region between 18:00 and 19:00. Materials arrive at your registered WhatsApp number when you start. Finish four hours after your own start at a location of your choice; there is no single fixed finishing time.
Teams need at least two people, up to the number of car seats. Bring a passenger car, smartphone with WhatsApp, reflective vest for the photographer, torch, suitable clothing and footwear. Checkpoint strategy and teamwork are part of the challenge.
The first 30 teams pay €29; later entries cost €34 per team. Registration: https://teirizklaide.lv/registracija.
