Car Photo Orienteering – Sēlija

Brauciens hosts its final car photo-orienteering event of the season in Sēlija on November 28, 2026. The route explores former narrow-gauge railway areas, hillforts, manor estates and places connected with Gothard Friedrich Stender. Teams find photo checkpoints and solve riddles. Checkpoint order is open, so each team chooses its own strategy.
Checkpoints will be marked on a paper road map issued at the start. Collect materials and start in Aizkraukle between 08:30 and 10:00. The organizer will announce the exact starting location at least seven days before the event. No finishing time is stated.
Bring a passenger car, a team of at least two people (maximum according to car capacity), a smartphone for WhatsApp and comfortable footwear. Entry is €50 for the first ten teams; the source does not state the later price. Registration: https://brauciens.lv/registracija.
